It is no longer hidden from anyone that Lime has been under a constant dispute with its suppliers in terms of its scooters. Lime, which is a scooter-sharing application is currently under a lot of pressure from its suppliers.
The company is being questioned by the suppliers and the customers for the safety of the scooters it is manufacturing. There seem to be issues pertaining to the safety of the scooters that have these parties involved in the matter.
On several occasions, Lime has pointed towards a particular company from China when it comes to low-quality scooters. It has been a while since the Lime scooters have been the center of attention for the customers and suppliers because of their problems.
However, Lime has claimed that it is not directly responsible for the quality of the scooters. Instead, the company has included the third company in the matter claiming it is responsible for the main problem.
According to Lime officials, the particular company named Okai is based in China, which is providing scooters that are flawed. However, Okai has denied all claims made against its manufacturing faults or the quality of the scooters it is making.
The Lime scooter supplier has denied any claims that Lime has made against its products and the scooters it provides. The company has rejected all the claims that Lime has made against its operations.
It was just the beginning of July when Lime announced that it had gone ahead and removed all the scooters that were delivered to it by Okai. The company reported that it did it because of the low quality and flawed scooters the supplier was provided it with.
The company did it because of the faults that were reported by several customers about the scooters. The customers reported that there were several scooters whose baseboard stands ended up breaking from the middle.
As a result, even the lives of the riders were at a risk. Due to this flaw and fault with the boards, many riders have suffered many injuries while riding the scooters. So far, complaints of several riders suffering from injuries have been reported. It has been expected that many fatalities may have been reported as a result of the accidents.
Although Lime has reported that it has several suppliers for the scooters, yet it has not revealed exactly how many suppliers it currently has.
However, Lime has revealed that only the Okai supplier is the one whose scooters have been reported to have faulty and flawed scooters.
While Okai continues to deny such claims and allegations imposed by Lime, the company’s share prices may end up experiencing a downtrend.
